Executive Cabinet The Executive Cabinet was created by an executive order to assist in the fulfillment of duties and responsibilities in USG.
Chief of Staff The Chief of Staff oversees and coordinates the work of the Executive Cabinet that was established by an Executive Order. They are the top assistant to the President. The Chief of Staff is responsible for coordinating the work of any cabinet positions, pilot programs, task forces, and special initiatives. The Chief of Staff also coordinates the work of any Ad-hoc committees in conjunction with the Vice-President. They report directly to the President and the Executive Committee. This officer is appointed by the President.
| Jared W. Ashmore is the Student Body President's Chief of Staff for 2009-2010. He is currently a senior majoring in Psychology and Political Science. He first served as a Justice for the Undergraduate Student Government as a sophomore, eventually stepping down and working as a Constitutional Advisor during the same year. The subsequent year he served as the Funding Board Chairperson, liaisoning between a multitude of student groups as well as introducing numerous pieces of legislation including Constitutional reforms and Ethics procedures. |
| Yoo Mi Thompson is a junior majoring in International Business. Prior to being appointed Chief of Staff to the Vice President, she served as Promotion and Recruitment Chairperson for the Spring 2009 semester. As P&R Chair, Yoo Mi oversaw two sets of elections – special elections in January and spring elections – as well as an extremely successful spring Student Appreciation Day. While Chairing Promotion and Recruitment, Yoo Mi and her committee worked to drive voter turnout in the USG Spring elections to one of the highest levels in the organization’s history. She began her tenure in the Undergraduate Student Government as an academic senator representing ACES, elected in Spring 2008. Yoo Mi is from Avon, CT and attended Avon High School.

Communications Director
| Samuel Greenberg is a senior Political Science and Journalism major. He has been an active member of the Undergraduate Student Government for three years. Samuel served as a residential senator for two years before being elected to one term as an academic senator this past year. He has served as the Chair of Funding Board and Residential Affairs since he joined the organization in 2006. Samuel is now working to find innovative ways for the President and Vice President to reach the student body and respond quickly to student needs.
